Mr Simpson lives in Hewelsfield Common, Near Lydney with his wife Jaye. He was formerly a senior executive with global company, Hitatchi Data Systems and has a strong commitment to and understanding of high quality service delivery and changing customer needs.

In a professional career spanning twenty years, Mr Simpson has accumulated a wide understanding of business planning and is a firm believer in listening to the needs and concerns of customers.

At a local level, Mr Simpson has also taken a leading role in a community project in the Forest of Dean, building and running a community shop with IT training facilities after the village in which he lives lost its only shop and post office.
