Dental Places Still Available - but be Quick!
23/06/2005
West Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust today announced that over 7,000 patients have contacted the Dental Registrations Helpline to register for new NHS Dental places in Gloucester City.
Patients who register with the helpline are contacted and offered appointments at either Eastgate Street Dental Centre at 121 - 123 Eastgate Street Gloucester, a new 4 surgery dental practice which opened on 7th June 2005 or Annandale House, 105 Eastgate Street Gloucester, an existing dental practice.
These projects form an integral part of the PCT's commitment to provide an additional 28,000 NHS dental registrations for residents of West Gloucestershire through the opening of two new dental practices (Cinderford and Gloucester) and by reaching agreement with local dentists in Gloucester and the Forest of Dean to provide additional NHS services.
NHS Dentistry places are still available. Patients wishing to register will need to contact a Registrations Helpline on 01452 389428 which will be available until 4.30pm Friday 01 July 2005. Patient details will be taken, and patients will then be contacted to arrange a first appointment. It will not be possible for patients to register with either Eastgate Street Dental Centre or Annandale House by visiting the practices, by telephoning the practices or by post.
