The exhibition part of the AGM (to be held between 1-4.30pm) will also showcase the development of West Gloucestershire’s *eight local Patch Teams, describing the areas covered and the projects underway to improve the quality of health care and the health of the local population.

Exhibition boards will highlight service developments such as the heart failure nurse service, NHS dentistry, podiatry and speech and language therapy and a health promotion stand will give visitors the opportunity to have a health check and receive healthy lifestyle information.

Chair of West Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust, Liz Boait said:

“The exhibition will provide an insight into the excellent work that NHS staff have been involved in during the past year. They have contributed enormously to the development of services and have been involved in numerous community based projects to make very real improvements to the health of local people.”

The formal Annual Meeting beginning at 5pm will include a presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts, a review of the past year and plans for the year ahead. There will also be Staff Awards for long service in the NHS.

Directions To Huntley Village Hall:

Huntley is situated on the A40, near the junction with the A4136.

From Gloucester – At ‘Over Roundabout’ (Junction with the A417) take the 2nd exit sign-posted Chepstow.

At the next roundabout which is ‘Highnam Roundabout’ take the 2nd exit sign-posted Ross-on Wye.

If you continue on this road which is the A40 you will arrive at Huntley Village.

At the Traffic Lights you need to turn right, the Village Hall is approximately 200 yards on your right.

From Cinderford/Coleford – Go through the village of Mitcheldean past the Vantage Point Business Park and continue on this road which is the A4136.

At the traffic lights turn right, this is the A40.

At the next set of traffic lights turn left past the Red Lion Public House, the Village Hall is approximately 200 yards on your right.
