West Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28th September at the Al Ashraf Cultural Centre, Stratton Road (off Barton Street), Gloucester, 5.30pm to 8pm.
It’s an opportunity to find out more about what the local NHS is doing to help improve health and develop services for the future.
There will be presentations from local managers and clinicians on services aimed at improving the life experiences of people with heart failure and diabetes and a new health service for young people in Gloucester.
Information will also be available on the health profile of the local area and the ‘Get the Right Treatment’ campaign which aims to build better understanding of services provided by Pharmacists, GPs and their teams, hospital Emergency Departments and Ambulance Service staff.
Chair of West Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust, Liz Boait said:
“The meeting will provide an insight into the excellent work that NHS staff have been involved in during the past year. They have contributed enormously to the development of services and have been involved in numerous community based projects to make very real improvements to the health of local people.”
The Annual General Meeting will include a presentation of the Annual Report
and Accounts, a review of the past year and plans for the year ahead. There
