About the Patch
About the ‘Patch’ The Central Gloucester patch covers the centre of the City including Barton, Tredworth, White City and Westgate as well as Highnam and Hempsted. It has a practice population of just over 19,000 and is served by GP surgeries at Bartongate, Rikenel, College Yard and Highnam.
To help the PCT better understand the priorities of the local community and to respond to their health needs, the Central Gloucester Patch Team has been formed involving front-line health and social care staff and local people in local decision-making about local health services.
